Stephen Colbert, who announced Tomlinson during the Wednesday episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," serves as the executive producer of the project. "After Midnight" will debut in early 2024, taking up the time slot formerly occupied by "The Late Late Show with James Corden," as was announced earlier today. It is based on the panel show "@midnight," which ran after "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" from October 2013 to August 2017. Guests would interact with presenter Chris Hardwick in this format.
